Ha..understood. I havent done anything with Lean, or I probably would have got that....

 

We actually dont deal with Lean Manufacturing. We use TPM, (using JIPM,) and World Class Manufacturing. Some Kaizen though. We have been given free reign to kind of design our own system b/c our new owners don't utilize TPM in their American facilities. We will be the pilot plant to adapt to those plants. It will most likely be WCM with a little TPM mixed in....

 

No ninjas though.....

We had six sigma where I work and it never worked out. Everyone that was involved with it are no longer with us.

I use to work for municipal government in Agriculture! Retired after 30 years! Now my job is complaining about the Federal Government at the coffee shop every morning! That is pretty much a full time job! hahha

 

And of course polishing anything that has nice shiny paint on it and has a GM or HD logo on it!

That seems cheap to me. I am in the Midwest and I charge $105/hour to send one of our techs out. You want me? it better be a project and the rate goes way up.

I am a repair technician for Apple, been there for a little over 5 years. Prior to that i worked in IT doing windows server and exchange server support.

 

I also do web design and graphics design in my spare time. I also run a small hosting company.

Been there 18 years now.
