Which vehicle should i get?

Sometimes it's not about comfort, look or space.

Sometimes it's a necessity.

Without knowing for sure, but I can't imagine that the Tacoma is not cheaper to maintain than a Tahoe.

Maybe the insurance is a lot cheaper. What about fuel economy?

My dad used to say " It is one thing to buy a car. Another is to keep it."

so long

I have to ask, how is this getting back on track?

Your selling a newer vehicle, to buy an older one? If you had payments, it would make some sense, but you don't. Honestly, I think your seriously down grading. Your going from your nicely modified, lifted full size that isn't that old, to mid size, excuse me, junk, in my opinion. As for the Tahoe, again, older everything, including interior.

Keep your truck.

Okay, if you read my WHOLE first post. I didn't wanna hear what you typed. I made it pretty damn clear, plus I sold it today for a pretty good price. Thank you.

If you don't want to hear opinions, don't post your personal situation and decisions and on a public forum, open to comment.

Its okay man, least I had a better looking truck then you.

You don't know anything about my truck, for starters.

Second of all, grow up. Like I said, your the one who posted on a public forum about your life's decisions, and now you don't want people to comment? Get real.

Later.

I'd say get the Tahoe because I think the cost of maintaining it will be more affordable and from what you've said I think you will be overall more happy with it. I'm mean it sounds like you're a tall guy and you already have some doubts about how happy you will be with the comfort level of the Tacoma.

I owned a 06 Tahoe z71, great vehicle, wished I still had it! Also being 6'2" I drove one of my employees taco a few times, and found there was barely enough room to change my mind in it. All in what you want bro, the Tahoe was awesome for trips

Yeah, I think I might go that route lol, So the 05 models doesn't have AFM or anything does it?

How many miles should I not go over if I was gonna buy one, whats the most common problems does it have?

No AFM before 2007. My pickup is at 120k and the only major issue so far was the t-case motor. The lower the better, I've seen some with around 50k. I'd try to find one that's been babied as much as possible. The good ones are pretty easy to spot.

I had an 03 5.3. In a sub that had 175k on it and the motor was 100 percent solid.. Didn't burn a drop of oil and made no abnormal noises. Amazingly all original exhaust too. 4Lshitty was a different story

Starting Monday, after I workout in the morning I guess I'll go test drive the two vehicles and see what I think. Then make my decison from there, its kinda weird that I have them 2 trucks picked out.Only reason I thought about getting the Tacoma is that its gonna last longer and have less problems. I'm only going to keep 2-4 years probably then get me a newer truck.

Why would you assume that the Tacoma would last longer?
