What pistol? I am looking at an XD-S

Ryan

Take a look at the Shield too if you are not fully set on the XD-S. If you want the .45 then go with the XD-S since they don't make the Shield in .45. If you're looking at a 9mm I would strongly consider the Shield.

I've shot both and I personally don't care for the grip on the XD-S (plus I think the Shield shoots much better). I know it's all personal opinion/preference though. Have you been able to shoot either?

I went with the Shied without the external safety since that's what I'm used to with Glock.

I couldn't believe mine since I don't have mortgage interest to deduct anymore. Starting to think the software last year had a flaw, since I got more back than last year but expected considerably less. I double checked everything.

Then I remembered last year I couldn't claim a big chunk of child care costs since a babysitter vanished and I couldn't find her to sign tax forms(was told by a former family acquaintance that recommended her to us that she went nuts before she disappeared). Glad she only watched the boys for a few months before she quit. She had helped watch my niece for s time and our niece really liked her. I was wanting to fire her around the time she quit because of a gut feeling anywau.

Dang now yall got me thinking I should either put it towards my credit card, or put it towards tires for my 02. Too many choices. I should probably do the grown up thing and pay off my credit card lol

Pay off the credit card and any other money you save from here on out will accumulate a lot faster!

If we get anything back it will end up in our savings account since we just had to write a nice big check for the earnest money for the new house.

On the gun point, I have the Shield 40 and it is a great gun, I also have a S&W MP40c as well. I picked up a new Sig 1911 ultra compact last year and it hasn't left my side since I got it. Both of my S&W guns sit in the gun safe now. Unless we are traveling and I have to leave the car and gun at the airport, then I take the Shield 40 with me and hide it. it is a lot cheaper gun to replace if it gets stolen.

I end up paying every year. Usually several thou. DINK is kickin our butt. But, we're making incomes better'n I ever thought we would. I do get a good sized bonus in a month, but it's offset by the taxes we end up paying.
