FishinJ
Mine does not matter if it's summer or winter. Just have to play with it a little at the beginning and then it's good to go.
JeremyW426
Had a similar issue with mine, ended up being the fuel fill tube. there's a plastic insert in the hose and on mine it looked almost swollen and wasn't allowing enough flow. Replaced the fill tube and it works great now. The tube is very easy to get at, I would pull it out and straighten it out to have a look down the tube and see if it looks open or restricted. Justin MacGillivray
Mine does this almost all the time. Usually after a couple adjustments I can get it to pump fine. My wife's new Hyundai does it as well.
1300c
Mine does it too. I just pull the nozzle out for 10 seconds, put it back it, and set the pump on the slowest of the two pump settings.
cjd10
Odd that this seems to be so common as I have never had a problem in hot or cold weather with my new truck or my old 2001 Sierra
George C
GM uses an electronic solenoid in its fuel tank that allows air to escape. It's an electronic part that needs to be replaced. Yours is probably under warranty.

Davidlew86
I found that if I leave the engine running it doesn't do it as bad or as often
Cupton
I had the solenoid and the evap canister replaced in my ‘18 after I couldn’t fill the tank past 3/4 a tank along with the pump stopping every 10 seconds. One dealer said it was normal and another dealer said there was an issue, diagnosed it and fixed it.
