DIY Line-X kits......what's your thoughts?

MY truck is showing it's age. It has rust along the rockers, surprise surprise. I should have been more on top of it early on, but I wasn't. I don't want to make the truck brand new again, but I'd like to cover up the rust as best as possible. Truck runs great, just needs a lil help in the looks department.

 

Have you used the DIY Line-X kits (or any other brand) for the sides of your truck?

 

 

I'd like to go with black up to where the chrome door ding guards are. I've removed them since this photo.

 

What's your thoughts?
