Arh headers ?s

Well I just got my arh headers but I still have some questions. Do I need o2 sensor extenders. If so does anyone know which are the correct ones or a link to the extenders will be better. I tried searching but I didn't find anything. Thanks

I just put kooks long tubes in and didnt need any extensions, i did have to cut a zip tie though on one of them to get a little more slack, ARH could be diffrent though.

I pmed some of the guys on performance trucks.net that installed these on their trucks and they told me they didn't need any extenders.

How do you like them? Any issues with installation? Did you order them in Canada or from the US?

I love them, cruising on the highway its like the truck was stock, when ur accelerating it has that nice deep tone. When you fire it up and its cold it has quite the bark then it mellows out after a few seconds to that nice deep tone. The worst part of the install for me was taking apart the y-pipe from the stock manifolds, they were super tight and in a awkward spot to get a socket on. Other than that though if you have someone to give you a hand it probably took us a little under 5 hours. I got them local here in Calgary from davenport motor sports.

I didnt notice anything off the bottom, but say 3000rpm and up there is a definite increase!

I love the way it sounds, except when the truck cycles from v8 to v4. I hate the way that drone sounds. but other than that I am pretty happy with it. During the installation the only difficult part to me was removing the y pipe. i cut it off with a sawzall to removed it once it was unbolted from the manifolds.

I didn't use any extenders, however I did get cat-efficiency codes with an SES light. I simply tuned the codes out. They said the extenders would help avoid the codes if you aren't tuning. They may have updated the cats since I got mine, I know they went through a similar evolution with the Stingray setup, but I'd advise asking them about it if you aren't going to tune.
