Just curious if anyone has purchased the AVS LOW PROFILE ventvisors for the 2014 sierras and silverados?? Trying to see what they look like. Please post pics. Thanks for the help!

Those look great exactly what I was trying to achieve. I actually sent the low-pros back in exchange for the in-channels. Thanks for the pic and info. Much appreciated!

I installed regular AVS in-channel vent visors. I think the profile is low enough. I happy with the purchase as I also didn't want anything to stick out to far.

Those are exactly what im looking for. Do they just snap in the channel?

They come with a scotch bright pad and four alcohol wipes. You just clean the window track with the scuff pad, then wipe them with the alcohol wipes. The vent visors themselves have 3M tape on them that they stick inside the window channel with. I know what youre probably thinking.....M3 tape? The none in-channel ones just stick on the outside of the vehicle and don't come off. So it's pretty strong tape. Once installed it says to keep windows up for 2 days. I installed them in the cold and thought it might cause it to not adhere well, but those things are on there pretty good. I also have window tint and ha d no problems with it scuffing or anything. Below is a link for install.

How cold was it when you installed them? I was planning on heating up the garage to put mine on tomorrow. Highs are finally gonna be up into the 30's the next few days. Think the tape will do its thing as long as I keep the windows up as the instructions say? It doesn't say anything about temp in the directions.

I bought them on Black Friday.....so I installed them early Dec.....in western MA. I would say temps were probably around 30-40. So you should be fine. Wouldn't hurt to warm up a bit in the garage first I guess. I was skeptical they would stick well bc it was cold. I just kept the windows up for two days and have not had any problems. Have put the windows down multiple times since then and even drove around with the window down to see if it would hold with wind blowing at it. No problems. If for some reason you do have any problems you could most likely scrape the stock tape off and buy a roll to reapply.

I got mine installed tonight, garage is well over 70 degrees and will be for the next couple hours. So fingers crossed I will have no problems. Gonna open the windows Monday on the interstate on my way to work and see how they do.

Sorry for the late response, but I've had these on for about 2 weeks so far and no complaints whatsoever. I installed them in the cold.. 40's and left the with the windows up for 3 days. I've drove with all 4 windows down going interstate speeds and zero complaints. Really like the looks of them. And satisfied with durability (...so far)
