Finally moved

Hey everyone,

Been a few months but finally back. Just got finished moving to Waynesboro Virginia over the New Years. Not a big move, bout 30 miles west of Charlottesville on I-64. We love the area, specially since it is not a college town, people are real friendly here. Mountains are beautiful and very quite, we live almost right off the highway and is still very quite.

It is amazing to me how much stuff("crap") my girlfriend and I have accumulated over one year. Had to make a few trips with just the truck loaded so I could fit everything in the Uhaul trailer. I don't know how much the truck and trailer weighted, but it was definitely heavy. Going up the mountain, the truck couldn't hold 3rd at about 60. Had to grab 2nd half way up the hill but man, sure sounded good tachin 4k and passing everyone (hit 70 mph at the top). I really wanna regear to 4.56 to help out with towing b/c 3.73 with 315/70r17 does not make a happy tow vehicle. Sounds like a would pick up better mpg too when I switch too from what people say.

These are are just from one trip to storage. had the truck loaded pretty good. Did not have a problem pulling 4th with tc unlocked up the mountain.

We moved a year ago too and it all fit in my cab, bed and an open air uhaul trailer! You need a "cleansing".

Haha, I think I need to say no more often. My dad retired last year and moved from AL to VA and dropped a lot of stuff off at my place. My mom keeps trying to give me things too. My gf parents are always sending stuff to us too. Can't beat free when we both are broke college kids ( I am just out of school). Have about $5k in tools and tool box last year that needed to move. I think most of the boxes and tots wear my gf's clothes lol.

My wife and I moved from So Cal Desert to Nor Cal where I'm from in Oct. We pulled a single axle uhaul enclosed trailer with everything we owned in it. We didn't even use the bed of the pickup. Everything we hauled was hers except one box of my clothes and my gun safe. That S10 was awesome too! Not a single problem, 16 hours straight on the road and didn't over heat or even struggle at any point of the trip.
