I went for a ride in my cousin's new GMC Canyon a few hours ago. I was very impressed. It's a 2015 (of course) crew cab, short bed in a very nice silver metal flake color. It's the SLE model with cloth seats, but very NICE cloth. It was fantastic looking inside and out; had most of the necessary bells and whistles. The 305 HP V-6 really moves it around quickly. A great match. Absolutely no issues with room or seating, it's quite comfortable. Being a GMC, it's got a few nice extra touches here and there. The only real difference in front seating and room was the difference between the width of his center console and the width of the one in my Silverado.

I just bought my new 2014 DCSB Silverado LTZ, 2 months ago and I love it! I look for errands to run just to get more driving time. However, when that day comes to replace it, I may upgrade by downsizing. It's that nice of a truck.

Yeah I'm really anxious to check out the diesel engine option for these trucks in 2016. I may end up downsizing when my 5 year note is up on my 2014. I still love a full size truck though so I don't know. We'll see how this small Duramax is....

Yeah, I hear you. I saw under the gas cap door where they already have an indentation for where the diesel filler will be installed. I think they have a bright future ahead.
