+1 on that...I really am not happy with my Rancho's. Can't wait to get these on.

Trust me when I say, You will be much happier with the Bilsteins!! My wife even commented how much better it rides and she doesn't even know I put the shocks on it!

Just had mine put on front/rear.....rides amazing.

Update....the best comparison I can make is that the 5100s ride like factory autoride shocks on my denali....always composed. Several large speedbumps around here that give you whiplash on the old shocks at 10mph.....15-20 and it's a minor disturbance in the force. Can't wait to tow with these.

If all goes as planned, I'm going to install the Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks next weekend. To aim my headlights afterwards, would it be easiest to pick a good solid texture wall, park about 25' away, and mark where the front tires are parked as well as the cutoff lines on the wall; then return to same spot once the level is done and adjust accordingly? Did you guys even need to adjust after adding the billys?

I haven't dialed mine down yet, but I think there is more rise due to the lift than the angle from what I saw. I parked in my driveway and at about 8' back to the front bumper, the headlights were about 3.5 inches high, however 2.75 of that was from lift and dire diameter.

That's not to say that I don't plan to adjust them down, I'm just saying it's not drastic. Also, no matter what you do, you're going to get the high beams flashed at you by the poor folks driving small cars!

I got quoted at a highly recommended shop in my area for an install of the billys. $50 total for the rears. They said it would be $150 for the fronts total since they probably had to compress the spring? I told them I had no idea what they needed to do for the fronts, all I knew is they were the leveling model and had no clue how they worked haha. Then I can get an alignment from them for $25, putting me at $225 for install and alignment. Is this a good price? I've always installed strut spacers and made use of a garage at a dealership and their tools to do it myself(well I supervised while my cousin and his friend did the jobs lol). Unfortunately this isn't an option now, and I have no idea what a good price is.

I have a 2 1/2" Pro Comp level that was put on yesterday. I want to add the 5100's all around. From talking to the bilsten rep, he instructed me to have them installed on 2 below the max with the lift for best ride and performance

Sounds kind of off to me, that means I will be over the 2 and 1/2" of lift.

If I were you I would just remove the Pro Comp leveling kit and use the 5100's to level out the truck. Unless you want a 4" lift that is.

Really the truck is perfect, Its sitting at 40" on the front fender. I dont want to go higher. Just feels really loose at high speeds :)

I am gonna pick up some 5100's for my rear end soon. Gotta do it.

You will feel the front bounce more after you put new rears on. I started with bilsteins in the back and just added new front shocks

Yea, I'd like to put the 5100's on the front as well.....Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and do all four corners.
