I haven't had time to send in tune. They promptly replied to my email, and asked for the tune file, no data logs.

I pulled it last night, and will send it in today.

I had to reinstall the flex tune the way I set it up, so that I could send the file he requested in, and it def shifts lazy on regular accel. The flex tune is better than stock, but makes you appreciate the regular Diablo tune in the first few miles of running the current flex tune.

They sent me an update, very easy to work with, and quick.

I uploaded the tune and am currently driving it to test, jury still out.....it's much better than the original flex tune, but it's still doesn't feel as strong or drive as good with the flex tune installed. Gonna drive a bit more before I go back to the Diablo tune.

I never said I was tailgating I was at least 3-4 full car lengths back. Thus why I said I don't know what the hell was going on when he said "let me guess you were drafting".

I actually do know what made me do this.... just over 1 rpm the entire time

So what is the consensus on using E85 in the 2015 5.3L without RPO FHS? I refuse to believe that the $100 up-charge gets you anything of merit.

I think I remember someone mentioning that it doesn't come with the ethanol sensor in the fuel line. Without it I'd think the ECU couldn't take advantage of the included second tune meant for E85. I wonder if anyone on here with one of those OBDII readers and a 2015 without the option can get an ethanol reading or not. That might give us a better guess.

Are you telling me E85 is not standard on the 15' 5.3?

It is apparently an added option (RPO code FHS) for $100. I haven't seen any in the wild.

Flex was standard in the sub 2002-06 lol. For 100$ its probably just a configuration in the ecm

Good idea. It looks like PID 52 will give you the ethanol percentage.
