Filled up today almost an entire tank. $24.89. ;)

20.5 gal today for $34. Anyone know why the pumps pump E85 so very slow. It seems to always take forever. My mpg was down to 13.8 DIC /12.8 hand calculated this time but lots of cold snowy weather here in MI.

A slow pump is irrelevant to the fuel type. It's a matter of the state of disrepair.

The state of disrepair? This is an entirely newly built Meijer gas station and the 87 pumps next to it are much faster. I've heard others on here mention slow E85 pumps as well. I was curious if there was a legitimate answer to why this seems to be.

They are all like this, my guess, less likely to puke alcohol/gas on the vehicle. Most likely worse on the paint. Notice the delivery hose is much heavier and all the fuel plumbing for our trucks are stainless/heavy.

I just figured this was the reason.

I've had one event when an E85 pump running very slowly; a rate of about a quart took three to five minutes. However, something like this has happened on E10 pumps a few times in the past. It was a problem with the pump as the attendants confirmed. So, for me, it's a state of disrepair. The next time I visited the station, the same pump worked just fine.

The e85 station we had in town would pump really fast but I have noticed some pumps are slower than others but I just thought it was a problem with the pump. Top offs are much quicker with no foam

At a Speedway that is shocking, they only price E85 10 cents less around me in mid Michigan. The Meijer was 35 cents less at 1.84 when I filled up yesterday. What area are you in? Midwest somewhere if its a Speedway?

I just updated my Speedway app on my phone. They now post E85 pricing and make it searchable. This is awesome. Taking a quick look I guess just the closest ones around me seem to be pricing it much closer to regular 87.

E85 is around the same price as Regular in Central Texas. If I'm lucky i can find it about .10 cents less than regular, so i haven't tried running it yet doesn't seem worth it.

I'm in Austin, and there are exactly 3 stations that sell e85. They are all exactly .50 less than 87. Where are you?
