ok so this is my first post. I've lingered on this forum for months. love it. a big thanks to everone that has shared so much..

I decided to share my recent experience / forced upgrades...

Basically I smoked an antelope doing about 50mph in my 15 sierra 4 dr z71. It smashed up my hood, factory led headlights, grill mirror and bumper. So naturally when the insurance check came I opted for aftermarket parts.

I chose the spider with drl head light. Denali chrome grill. heated chrome tow mirrors with side amber led . magnum bumper with pre runner bar and cree light bar. also added flowmaster super 10 as a bonus, as well as the rough country 2.5 front lift with rear block also. that allowed me to stuff some toyo open country mt 35x 12.5x 20 that I had picked up for 100 bucks used. yes they rub but not that bad. only when I turn haha... so here's a few pics. I'm not exactly happy with the flowmaster due to the afm. not too happy with the way the tow mirrors are wired up. and my drl led do not work but once again I believe it's the way they are wired up. In order to get all the cool aftermarket parts I wanted I had to allow the body shop to do all the work. that's why it's not exactly how I wanted but with I'm sure I could easily correct this. also the low beams in these headlights suck. but will be swapping them out soon. and sorry for some of the pics being sideways. this is my first post, but will not be my last...post-165329-147935454446_thumb.jpgpost-165329-147935456137_thumb.jpgpost-165329-147935457386_thumb.jpgpost-165329-147935459529_thumb.jpgpost-165329-14793546346_thumb.jpgpost-165329-147935468322_thumb.jpgpost-165329-147935474028_thumb.jpg

I got lucky on the ltz grill. Buddy works at chevy. He drove an ltz to my house. I swapped the grills. And slipped him $200. The dealer wants 750 plus tax for the grill

Pretty freaking shady.. your friend is an A-hole. Now some unsuspecting person is going to buy that truck and pay for an LTZ and he's getting a shitty grill.

Completed my truck last week. 2016 GMC sierra all-terrain, 5 inch rough country bracket suspension lift! rides smooth lift was a little bit of a pain in the ass to install, compared to your traditional knuckle kit!!! But worth it IMO. Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/60/20 with Moto Metal 970 gray with black lip, 20x10-24!! Slight rub at full lock on factory mud flap.
