You just noticed it? Shoots!

I know right. Apparently I don't look at my truck as much as I think, poor thing [emoji26] .

I think I know what happened. We have had some pretty nasty storms here recently so on my way to work I came around a bend in the road and the tree branch was sticking out and I couldn't swerve cause a car was coming the other direction. Didn't give it much thought of it damaging something until I saw it yesterday

I am wanting to put HIDs for my lows and highs, and LED bulbs to match for my fogs.

We both have the projector lights, and I'm just wondering if you ever got your lights hooked up? There's so many options out there it's making my head spin.

Nice truck btw

I had HID headlights for a few weeks but they kept burning out the ballast. I finally realized, when I got rid of them, that it was my own stupidity and had the error canceller thing in the wrong spot in the daisy chain. They worked great when they did work lol but I'm just sticking with halogen for right now

I may be trading the truck in if dealer can't correct the vibration. Got a pretty good deal lined up on a Ram 1500 Laramie in western brown

Whaaaaaat? I didn't know your truck was a vibrator. That's really shitty man.. especially for the top of the line model. What made you want to switch to the Ram?

I would LOVE to do a retrofit, but it's completely out of my league in terms of mechanical aptitude/handiness. I'd pay someone to do it but am not aware of any local shops, and don't feel like shipping my headlights away for half a month and being truckless haha.

It didn't start occurring until around 15k or so miles. Haven't been hooked up to a trailer for a couple weeks now so when I hit the highway I can really tell it's there. I haven't switched yet but if they can't fix it I'm going with a Ram because their interior is on par with/ slightly better than GM trucks. Plus I don't like the new Ford body styling

Shit... that makes me nervous. I have 5k miles on mine and all is fine... I thought I was in the clear.

I do agree that Ram has the nicest interior of the big 3. I just don't like how they've looked the same since '09 and the immature culture that goes with Ram trucks. Just promise us you won't put a big "HEMI" sticker on your windshield and flip your tow mirrors up when you're not towing.. Hahaha. :smash:

And I mean hey.. pretty sure you'd be shunned if you bought a Ford!

Honestly with the brackets from Phil at Fastheadlights, it's way too easy. The brackets make doing the retrofit easier than taking the headlights off haha.

Nah I wouldn't hate on GM or put ridiculous stickers on the windows. I like their tow mirror design as well but I definitely wouldn't run them in ghost haul mode [emoji23]

Well been a while since I've been in here. Haven't done anything to the truck recently besides oil changes and tire rotations. I did take it into the dealership twice to get them to correct the vibe issues. First time was in September and it cured it for 2 weeks, then came back. Took it back in a couple days ago and they did a road force balance and matched the tires and wheels with their machine (not sure of the technical term). They almost gave me a new set of tires, but couldn't prove to gm that they were out of spec, so that was kind of a downer considering mine are almost done for lol. But, so far so good! Did 120+ miles at 76-80mph yesterday to test for vibrations and I didn't feel any. We'll see how long it lasts.

On another note, I did buy a tuner last night. Diablosport Trinity tuner. Reasons I went with the Diablosport is 1) I like a can tuner because I can also use it as a monitor/ gauges and 2) because Diablosport has custom tuners that can work out tunes specifically for you. If I didn't want the gauges I may have gone with Blackbear as I've heard only positive things about them.

Gonna be time for new tires here soon, so I've been looking at new wheels as well. Also want to upgrade the struts and shocks to Bilstein 5100's all the way around in the next year. This is assuming I don't get any vibes coming back into the truck.

Been 3 months since I've updated, mainly because I don't have time or money like I used to with my other truck lol

Got new tires installed about 3 weeks ago, went with the BFGOODRICH All Terrain KO2 in a LT275/60R20, so a 33" tire. They have been great so far, very good street manners, a beautiful very quiet hum while on the highway. They are amazing in snow, hook like no tire I've had before.

The truck is squatting because of the trailer not pictured, but this was the day after I got them

Best part about these new tires, MY VIBRATIONS ARE GONE!! YAY!! Now I'm willing to sink more money into this thing haha.

Returned the Diablosport tuner I received back in November. Kept screwing with re issuing the VIN to my truck so it wouldn't start. After the third time I said enough with this and sent it back.

Got a toolbox today as well. Needed it because my backseat was a mess and now I can actually seat passengers! Few pics of it. I had the option to get a deeper toolbox but I like that I can slide stuff under this box and still have some type of space up front and I also could have gone with a shallow mount box but all the pics online portrayed the new k2 trucks looking better with a taller box, IMO. Looks a little goofy with it being a short bed truck but because it's aluminum finish it offsets from the truck and looks really good IMO

Been so busy at work and with the blizzard a few weeks back I haven't had time to clean the darn thing in over a month, poor truck getting abused. I still need to take it in to the body shop from when I hit those deer back in October. Once I get it back from there I think I'll go ahead and put some time into detailing it

What mileage did you get yours at? Mine were just shy of 39k, I've put 2500+ on it since I've gotten them
