Looking to get a magnaflow and dump it, need some opinions

I'm in the process of ordering a diablew tuned diablosport tuner, so In the meantime I'm looking to put a magnaflow 14" muffler and dump it. Any advice on whether to dump it behind the axle or in front? I'll have to deal with the v4 drone until I get my tuner. I'm just not sure where to dump it

I've had both and before the axle sounded so much better. I moved it at the urging of my gear installer. Since the exhaust was blowing too close to the diff he suggested I move it for warranty reasons. It's not as deep now. And just doesn't sound right IMO. But a muffler change could remedy that.

What about dumping it right at the muffler, so just dump it there instead of any tailpipe. Or is that what you're talking about when you say before the axle?

Yeah right after the muffler is what I meant! I think that's the way I'm gonna go

So the stock pipe is 2.75" I believe, but magnaflow doesn't have 2.75, so I ordered a 3 inch muffler. Is there some connector to buy or what's the best way to connect?

Yeah there's all sorts of adaptors.
