Adding Tail Lights To Sled Trailer Clamshell

I plan on adding a set of tail lights to the clamshell (no lights currently).

 

ALSO: What is the feedback on the standard 3 strip center tail light, or mount 3 x 2" LED lights individually? Outside lights are 4" LED.

 

Who has done this and what did you use to cut the hole in the Aluminum? I need to drill/cut a 4-1/2" hole for the round LED tail /brake lights. I have a cheap hole saw I though about running in reverse, but wondered if there was any better ways?

 

Another way I thought about is cutting a template in wood, then using (if available???) a bit for the dremel.

 

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated! And I know, should have done this 2 months ago! Lol Oh well.
