Can Magnetic Ride Control be retrofitted to our trucks?

Recommended Posts

I added cruise to my 07 NBA by doing just that. I had to show that all the parts were purchased from gm and that gm installed them and then the dealer tech had to call GM tech line to get info how to reflash vin with the cruise added in....and now it is permanently added in my vin info at GM. Thus may help. I actually did the instructions in the NBS thread which may still be pinned there.

..but for something like mag shocks...seems like buying an already equipped truck may be cheaper.

Sorry for returning to this old topic but I don't get it!

I will not buy a Denali because of this feature! And you're asking for it! I will buy an SLT or LTZ and then install the shocks I want without the hassle of electornics.

Also replacing failure MRC shocks is $500 each and it is not interchNgeable between sides, beside it is made for on road not off road.

Finally enlighten me please if I'm wrong because I will choose SLT trim over the Denali and I like the Denali's 8" cluster so I need better facts to make my decision stronger

Thanks
