Article: Holy Crap, Pickup Trucks Have Gotten Expensive!

I bought a used nice condition truck with a billion miles on it and have been happy... I will take this time and low payment to shop, research and decide on a nice new truck in the next 5+ years when my payment is gone.... I will wait for the perfect deal with no brand allegiance. I refuse to pay sticker or the asking price.... I always end up with a good deal because I am disciplined and willing to walk away from a deal but I also know when to budge a little to get the best deal possible. Most of my "shopping" starts a year or more in advance to know whats out there, whats coming and what me and my family need. 40k is alot of money for an investment and I plan on making the best decision possible. Yes they are more expensive now but we also need to keep in mind so isnt everything else without wages going up this means better budgeting and more pride in ownership.
