Suspect Suspension

Recommended Posts

Hi. Looking for possible causes for this issue, and required repair procedures. (I have ideas, but its good to hear from all you).

2000 Sierra ecsb 4X4

On both left and right sides, where the hexagonal end of the torsion bar fits into the Lower Control Arm, it looks like it does when an oversized socket was used on a bolt. Hopefully the pic. I attached works. I do have he torsion bars cranked up, beem that way for 5 years.

If anyone can share similar problems with solutions, or good advice, i would appreciate it.

Thanks for reading

ive seen this before ,,,,i

the only way to tell if this is hammered into the LCA is to get the " Z " height checked and adjusted ,,,,if the jounce bumper is touching then its been hammered at the points into the LCA

the truck i saw the adjustment bolts at the keys where almost out of threads in the keys ,,the jounce bumpers where touching the UCA ,,,,
