Oil weight question

He won't find a approved 10w30 dexos1. GM has made the corporate decision that 10w30 will not be on the list. But there are several 10w30 oils which meet GM 6094M and 4718M, which are the foundation of dexos1. GM has put out a TSB a year or two ago, that states API SN is allowed. So I use a 10w30 that meets those 3 standards as well as ILSAC GF-5, which has a higher standard than dexos1 regarding ethanol in fuel. I sleep quite well with that choice.
