I think the Iraq people would have fought if we left a few troops there to lead them. And if we gave the kurds arms like we said we would. We would have kept Maliki in line. China is trying to take a few islands from Japan, they mention it on slow news days.

Now I am curious, why does that boggle your mind?

Yeah, Yeah, I know.

I know China tries, they have for years. Not sure we want to get too picky with China, they could kill us all just by dropping people out of airplanes without parachutes, and still have a Billion people left in their country.

Seriously, if WWIII broke out before war is completely automated(queue the that old Star Trek episodes with the death booth), not much is going to matter for long. The winner will be who still has a few fields left to grow food for the thousand survivors.

Because we left Iraq without a contingency plan it was all for nothing now. All the money we spent put our country very deeply in debt, screwed up Soldiers lives, put a strain on our military, people lost their lives, all for nothing. Americans need to get prepared because IMO our Soldiers will be back in Iraq in 5-7 years tops.

Edit: now he is tap dancing his way thru this trying to figure out what to do. He knows that the elections will be upon us soon and the Dems want to win again. He said he will never put troops on the ground in Iraq, we won't get pulled back into this. Maybe he can prolong it until the elections are over, so someone else can deal with this mess.

It's crowding his space and taking up most of his time now. The Generals are telling him that we will need to put boots back on the ground in Iraq so we have to keep this option open.
