I like the idea of some side mouldings, it definitely keeps the wdt body protected.

I was thinking of removing mine, but they do keep the doors from taking any misplaced dings from other folks. Now knowing how expensive the paint is, I decided to keep them until it's no longer my daily driver.

Cleaned up after a month of rain. I'm mildly considering chrome body side moldings, and highly doubt I'll do it, but I would like some opinions.

Very nice build man, since you're going with chrome I feel like the moldings would add a touch of class to that color. It looks great either way, just wouldn't hurt the appearance if you added them. (and it protects your shiny new vehicle from door dings). Either way looks very good.

created an account here just to say thanks OP!

i just bought an LT and have been looking everywhere for part numbers to add foglights. you also saved me alot of money by verifying the old silverado part numbers work since those fogs are half the price if not more!

one quick question i do still have though is you wouldnt happen to know the part number for the chrom eyebrows that go over the fogs would you?

thanks again

You're welcome. I don't have the part #s but I'm sure a quick call to the dealer would answer that. As you can see I wrapped mine with color matching vinyl. It looks so much better than chrome, imo.

tried searching all over online but cant figure out what they are called.

I'm a rather new member here and I just read this thread.

VERY nice job. The minor changes you made, did a lot, at least in my opinion. That SUV looks stellar to say the least.

Glad she picked out rims that you like too. I would hate to see the wifey only liking something hideous lol.

This may be a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway... when you used vinyl on the grill bowtie - did you just use the same method that you used for the emblem on the original 20's? I am thinking of using the vinyl on wife's Cruze (her car is silver and the stock bowtie needs changed badly lol). Do you recommend 3M 1080?
