I'm not a fan of the black eyebrows over the fogs on the LTs and I'm not sold on the chrome ones on the LTZs either, so I used some left over vinyl and wrapped the ones in the wife's tahoe. dependimg on the lighting sometimes it looks to match better than others. And it's clean so I'm going to whore it a little.

I installed the fogs in about 15 minutes. It's a simple process. First I ordered the brackets from GM Parts Giant for about $42 shipped, using part #s 22936482 and 22936483. I then ordered the lights, that are in fact the 07-13 Silverado fogs, from Amazon for like $36 for the pair! I used the old Silverado/Avalanche part #s 25883245 and 25883246 for this as the pair cost half of what a single light costs using the updated Tahoe part #s 22872762 and 22872763. I'm not sure what, if any, difference there is between these two lights, but from what I can tell, they look the same and both fit.

The install is straight forward. Remove 2 10mm bolts from the bottom of the wheel house liner. They're found just in front of the tire. There's a push rivet there too. Just pop it out. Now you can easily reach behind the filler bracket and remove the 4, 7mm bolts holding it in. Now you're ready to reverse the process with the new bracket and fogs.

The fogs themselves just pop into the brackets with very little effort.

Next up is the harness, which I'm sure is also from the GMT-900 Silverado as well, and the new switch for the Tahoe. Then I'll try and get them wired up. But for now I'm just glad to have those plugs gone.

Coming together quite nicely and quickly. Some projectors would look sweet in those fogs!

Not sure if you are fabbing your harness or if you are getting one from GM, but if you do make your own (which is really easy) I may have a fuse block PIN connector for you. I ordered some from mouser as I fabbed my harness to add fogs to my truck.
