Same here, for some reason I thought they were supposed to come on in reverse. Our, am I incorrect?

I'll have to do another test/simulation. Since I have the Cargo/Reverse diode mod, I don't recall if it had that diode in prior to running the simulation.

I seen this post and started looking for a cheaper brand. Are these the same mirrors just OE replacement? Just more in my price range. Anyone know if these will work the same way since they replace the OEM part number. I have 2016 SLT all terrain DL3 mirrors. If so will I need any harness or plug and play. Thanks

If you have Seat Memory (A45), you might need a memory module Calibration according to the guide. Your truck would be the last one on the list. If you don't have seat memory, you would be the 2nd to last on the list.

Since you would be getting these outside of GM, I would check with dealer if they would even perform the calibrations. Based on the feedback here, if you don't get a "kit" that includes a serial # for calibrations, they may not do it.

Here is the chart.

Would I need those harnesses listed as well if I bought factory OEM mirrors or would they just plug in?

I wish I knew what the Memory Module Calibration and BCM Calibration actually do. For us that have 1500 LT, we've been pretty fortunate to have this work. The only difference in the harnesses is how the circuits for the lighting are pinned. The Serial Data Bus circuits don't change. :(

I know it's your money, and we all are trying to save a buck, but why not just buy a set from here? He's proven himself here, and you would be supporting the locals as well. I have no vested interest either way...

Do his kits come with the harnesses or is it $899 for just the mirrors. If not I'd have to save for a lil cause they are adding up with what's needs to be done. His at $899 is the cheapest I seen for the mirrors I just happen to search and see those OE ones and thought dang $500 bucks is a good deal. I'm in the military so funds aren't unlimited by no means I just like this mod and was seeing how much stuff is needed and how much it'd cost me to see if I could even do it.

I understand the military aspect, trust me, did my time in the US Army, now reserve. My advice is to save your money and do it right the first time, it will only cost more if you have to do it over. I have over $2,000.00 invested in my mirrors all together. That is the cost of the mirrors and cameras. I'll let him comment on pricing...

ETA: I still need to get them to do the programming for the auto power folding.
