After months of contemplation, I was finally given a reason to upgrade to the new style tow mirrors. I have an early build duramax with the old style mirrors. My wife clipped a tree limb backing out of the driveway causing the glass/motor connection points to break loose.

Instead of just repairing the current mirror, I'd like to upgrade to the new style with only the manual fold. I've read through a few very long threads and the one last question I have before ordering the new set is about the ambient temp sensor in the mirror. Since my truck is an early build 2015, does that mean the temp sensor is not in the mirror? I'm looking at ordering part number 23372182 or the chrome version and want to ensure it won't throw a code after install.

Windstorm last night took out a large branch which in turn took out my driver's side door mirror glass. Housing is fine.
I've wanted to upgrade to the newer style tow mirrors for a long time but never had the reason to justify the $. Now I do.
Will these work with my 2005 Silverado 2500HD CCSB LT model?
I can share my VIN if it helps?
The power fold is a big deal for me since I am often needing to park in tight spots.
I had a 2011 1500 that had the manual towing mirrors and it seemed like every time I parked it someone would fold the passenger side in which meant I would have to always pull it back out invariably screwing up the angles in the non power mirror.
Anyways this is the model I would want to replace mine with. I like the amber clearance light and led backup lights also.
Are they auto dimming and have memory as well?
I don't ever use the reverse assist mode but would like to keep the functions as in tact as possible.

Does anybody know part numbers or where I can buy replacement glass for these new style mirrors besides my local dealer? I broke the drivers side bottom glass the other day and cant find anything online to replace them.

Driver's side, bottom should be - 23444114 -- confirm with dealer. Parts catalog shows as correct, but diagram shows old style mirrors. I didn't have a VIN handy to filter.

Note: This is an updated part. Some found the LED too bright on the original glass - so they revised it to turn down the brightness. Don't be alarmed if it's not as bright as the original.

The bottom glass doesn't have the turn signal. Is this part number for the main mirror?

contact SuperchargedSS directly. Mine had broke and I contacted him, he found and has the part number. Was a lot cheaper to replace than I was expecting haha.
