So if my SLE only has power adjust, nothing else, I will only have the power adjust functionality? or is it possible to hard wire all other functionalities ?

Do you want to know the distance from the truck to the farthest edge of the mirror?

Sure. You can hard-wire anything. It may be possible to buy new wiring harnesses also.

yeah, from the truck to the furthest edge.

so even if my truck does not have the heated, auto dim, turn signal, powerfold, I can hardwire it? do you know anyone potentially selling a wiring harness for all the functionalities of these mirrors?

Passenger and driver side mirrors are different lengths.

You can make it do anything it can do, I think. The door harnesses you need are described in several of the 1000+ replies here...I had an SLT when I bought these (I had them swapped to my 15.5 Denali, shown) so I hardwired the LEDs to come on in reverse and I jumpered the turn signals (which I has from factory) with the front markers so I have redundant front-facing turn signals. I like it better that way, as I seldom drive at night anyway. You can certainly hardwire the front LEDs to the parking lights if you wish. Perfect for me.

i installed on and early 2015 slt 3 package.. i had power fold already .. led amber and led rear projectors didn't work.. i jumped the amber light in mirror harness to interior led wire on door harness very simple... search on here someone specified the color wires... theres a bulletin on here as well describing what you'll need for each model make year and rpo codes.. pm me if confused ill try to discuss with you

I'll be the annoying one that asks the question again: I read through about 30 pages and being as stupid as I am with electrics, didn't understand fully. I will be buying these this week and want the amber lights to work as clearance lights (not turn signals). What do I tap into? Preferably so that they do not dim with the interior dim switch (if there's no other way, that's fine too).

From what I understand tapping into the orange wire makes them turn signals, correct? As for the white LED's, I don't really care for them at the moment. This is my only concern.
