Which ones? pictures? if they are the new model tow mirrors that power fold with all the bells and whistles that come with it, then I will buy them. let me know!

They GM part number is #23465677.

The model K2XX DFG/SIG

I'm not sure if they are power folding but they are all black.

My question that everyone seems to dance around is regarding the amber lights.....

I understand from the first post that the solid orange wire can be moved and connected to the red/blue wire to have it on with the blinker.

The million dollar question is how do you achieve the amber light to work as the blinker AND work as a running light when the headlights are on?

What additional wire do you tie into to achieve the running/clearance light capability?

Or will leaving the orange wire alone and simply adding a wire tap to the red/blue wire allow for both functions to work properly?

If I splice the amber lights for turn signals and the LEDs for puddle lights and do the diode for puddle lights with reverse lights mod will I need to still run a 1 ohm resistor or will the LEDs work properly without one with this setup?

They got the wrong wire off the BCM. Mine were like that at first but they corrected it.

What wire at the BCM did they connect to?

not sure of the color on the wire. 12v tester handled that.

I found out if you have a truck with the AVF RPO the ip harness is wired for the DQS mirror. so I added a pin to the door connector and was able to get the LED's to work as designed. Thanks for the response.[/quote

I have the small mirrors without turn signals and want the black tow mirrors with the amber markers and white leds. What all would I need to do this? I assume I would need new harnesses?Thanks

Both door harnesses are a given.
