Ok, just for reference, this is the video I used on how to take apart the upper glass on the mirror. They basically just click upward. The video is for the older style mirrors so that Is all is used to take them apart.

The smaller lower mirror just pops off and from there it is just a few torx screws. Then the chrome pieces just come right off easily.

Here is my video of them disassembled.

Any questions feel free to ask.

How do you have to pull on the lower mirror to PPP it off? I tried earlier but felt like it was about to break in half. Didn't want to try any harder. Didn't try top mirror.

Ps, you are my new best friend for the day [emoji106]

I need to quit thinking about these and just order them. I assume group buys are over and its on an individual basis? I feel like o remember seeing $875 is that right for a set? 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71 already have power fold/turn signals so I'll need to wire the LED light and Amber light

Yes they used to be a bit cheaper but SuperchargedSS mentioned when the price went up it was becuase GM bumped the price up that vendors had to pay for these things.

The mirrors are definitely well worth the money. When my friends first heard that I spent so much money on me mirrors they thought I was crazy, then they saw how nice they are and all the features.

Website is the cheapest I have them for.

They are indeed badass mirrors. I finally got my cargo leds wired and those things are blinding!!

Can anyone tell me if the physical plug is the same whether the mirror is power fold or non power fold?

I currently have non power fold but am looking to get power fold and wire a rocker switch in cab to fold them. Without replacing the entire harness in the door and both passenger and drivers side switches. Pictures of the plugs would be appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Alright, for those who don't want to have it reflash from the dealer and wants to know the color wires to have it your way.. LOL

The solid orange wire is for the front amber light in the slot "#1"on the plug. You can move and connect to slot "13" Red/blue stripe to have it on with your blinker or you can wire your own as running light.

The solid Yellow wire is for the 2 little white led in slot "#2" on the plug .You can run your own wire and connect to the reverse light or you can move it to slot "#1" to have it on as your puddle lights. :D

Great info Block8head. So if I want to wire the amber as a running light a new wire has to be ran to the fusepanel as well? Also when you say slot 1,2,13.......is this as follows

123456789

1011121314151617.....

I'm trying to guage the level of effort to wire the spotlights to come on when in reverse/cargo and the ambers to be used as running lights. I have a buddy at a body shop ordering me the mirrors and i've had the drivers side on for about two weeks now. The passenger sides have been broken in the box twice now. This only after I had to send back a 67 mirror in exchange for the 69 mirror because this is going on a Duramax.

My guys just need an hour or two to swap these mirrors, including running the wires for the LEDs. No biggie. I use my audio shop for all this stuff.

So anyone looking to remove the amber light to do modifications please reconsider. I just removed the light thinking it was just a lens and I could get to the inside to clean it and possibly make some changes but it is a sealed light due to the LEDs located within. So there is no way to get inside without breaking it. So I cleaned as much as I could and pieced it back together. Can't wait to get my second one so I can finally install them onto the truck this weekend.

Can you post pics of how this looks if you have any and don't mind posting them? I have seen one or 2 guys on insta with their ambers smoked on their mirrors but can't help to tell the process or removing or anything since they have all had a shop do it for them.
