2014/15+ HD PowerFold OEM Tow Mirrors (The Ones We've Been Waiting

Okay guys help me out and let me know what Im doing wrong lol I started wiring today and have ran into some issues...

my truck:

2014 LT Crew Cab so only power adjust and heated mirrors from factory.

What I did:

Left turn signal: (blue/white) Brown plug Pin 2

White LEDs: (blue/brown) Brown plug Pin 26

Ambers: (green/grey) White plug Pin 22

Problems:

No working ambers.

No white LEDs in reverse

Turn signal is very dim and turns full brightness only when running lights are on or headlights are on

What am I missing? I haven't done the passenger yet because I wanna fix the problems Im having now before continuing

You are trying to get the ambers to work as running lights? And the white LEDs you'll need to run a new wire or if you had a puddle light you can tap them into the puddle light wire and put a diode so your puddles turn on with cargos or reverse. My recommendation goes to putting the white lights so they come on with the cargos and hook your cargos to the reverse lights. That way you can get the most use out of those white lights. That's how mine is set up

I have ran 3 new wires all to the BCM since I have an LT model and no turn signal option from the dealer

since you have a 14, not all things will be a simple PNP. You'll need to do some rewiring

I've read the first post and its pretty vague. I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ 1LZ which are full power, heat, etc.

since you have a 14, not all things will be a simple PNP. You'll need to do some rewiring

So the bottom section of the first post applies to my 2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ? If that's the case I just need a flash from the dealer and I'm good right?

no, there is no re-flash that will make these mirrors work completely. you will have to run a new wire to the amber lights on the mirror to make them work as marker light or turn signal lights of our choice. Also if you want the white leds to work in reverse or cargo lights you will have to run another wire and also add something to the wire (I forget I would have to look back). I have not bought these tows yet but plan to and it does not seem very difficult.

There actually is on the bottom part of your post, but the quote throws in a "LOL" at the end so I guess that was a joke. I'm interested in the mirrors and will buy them I just wanted to know exactly what I was getting in to and honestly didn't want to read 52 pages. If you don't mind me asking what did you pay to have your tow mirrors painted on your wife's truck?

I just ordered power fold for my 2014 Sierra SLT.

Super excisted . will report back . Talked to my service guy and he was totally welcoming the idea that has guys can install them. So well see ..

I ordered my mirrors early last week and installed them Sunday. Thanks for the quick shipping SuperchargedSS! Does anyone have pictures or a video on how to wire the marker lights and LEDs? I just want to make sure I do not mess up the BCM.
