For anyone who hasn't gotten these mirrors yet and are curious of how much light the white LEDs put out, here's a picture I took of them tonight. I just pushed the mirror forward so that the LED would aim straight at the wall

Do the new power fold mirrors have the ambient temp sensor in them? Is anyone else having problems with a CEL? Code says ambient temp sensor. On the old right mirror it has a puddle light and something else. is that the sensor? If it is the new mirrors don't have it. Unless it's hidden inside.

I just installed mine this weekend on my '14 Sierra 1500 All-Terrain SLT with no issues what so ever.

Here's another picture... my future father-in-law made me park like this, as he didn't want my truck to get hit in the street.

Well that's great. I don't understand why some are having issues and others are not. Does your new tow mirror have a temp sensor at the bottom of the passenger mirror?

I don't know if it does or not.

I think we have heard that the temp sensor is a Duramax issue only, right? It's part of the engine management system, and gasoline engines don't have it. Mine are perfect (1500) and my thermometer still works correctly.

Maybe you're correct. Could only be a diesel thing. Can others please reply and specify whether you installed in a gas or diesel truck and advise if any issues came up

Thanks

New to the forum.. Looking for opinions on putting these mirrors on a 2014 sierra 1500.. I have them already but are they gonna look way too big? Thanks

Look at my photo above... I think they look great!
