2014/15+ HD PowerFold OEM Tow Mirrors (The Ones We've Been Waiting

Drove by a Chevy lot the other day and saw a 2500 with these mirrors but not clad in chrome, anyone have an idea if these lack some of the options of these chrome mirrors or if they are available in non-chrome with all the goodies? They did still have the amber marker lamp.....

For me the textured black plastic would be preferred over the chrome if I made the difficult swap (I have regular mirrors with power adjust and heat only).

They are offered with the chrome and without they function the same.

The black ones don't powerfold. Atleast from what I've seen.

Do the ones that don't powerfold have the LED spots?

Just finished my install on a 2015 3500 Denali, code DNP. Everything works great and the mirrors are awesome.

I would suggest to anyone doing the install that you do your wire splicing while they are on the work bench and not on the vehicle...just makes it easier.

Orange wire to the Red/Blue wire, and Yellow wire where the Orange was located.

This will give you blinking amber lights when your turn signal is on, or when flashers are on...and LED lights when the vehicle is unlocked. That's just the way

I like it.

I purchased the mirrors plus the drivers side switch.

Thanks Robbie...these are great!

I wired mine almost the same, or maybe the same. My guy ran a wire from the BCM back-up lights to the LEDs, so in reverse the LEDs are on. Of course, this includes from the fob and during the key-out delay when it's dark.

You think it would be possible to run a wire for the amber lights to the marker lights so that the ambers are running and turn signals? or would there be a wire closer like under the dash?

Yes, but that requires some extensive wiring, which is in another thread.
