as per an earlier post on page 23

"I have my amber lights hook up few marker lights. You don't need to pull a wire for the marker lights. If tie the orange wire and the yellow wire on main door harness that give you power for the marker lights. That is the power supply for the clearnance lights. All you need is 6 inch piece of wire and two wire taps. Only thing I had to run wire for was the white led for the cargo light switch. "

Just to confirm, If i connect the orange wire from the mirrors to the yellow wire from the door harness it will give power to the amber lights as markers?

Yes but if you read my post from above it will indeed hook them up but they aren't right. For example....they don't activate with the Key fob at night when all of your other lights turn on when you are walking up to the truck and then when you shut the truck off they stay on after all the other lights have shut off and then slowly fade away. Run the wire into the clearance light circuit in the cab. It will actually look better that way

Thank you to all who responded to my question regarding the amber lights connection. I am going to run my amber lights and led back lights the hard way through the firewall and connect up to my trailer wire module under the hood.

Question for Supercharged SS: I have a 2015 3500 HD LTZ z71 which was built in July of this year. The truck is fully loaded. The truck came with non folding camper mirrors and no Dl3 or DQS code as it was not available at my order time. I live in Canada and could not order my mirror set from you. As such I have ordered my mirrors, power switch and plate from our local chevy dealer. My question is, do I need to order the door harness as listed is the first pages of this post and if so can you advise the actual part number for the harness. Our parts dealer can not pin down the exact type of door harness as there are many types with different door options. Also do I need two door harnesses , (passenger, driver)

Thank you

Rod

Have any of you ran wires through the door to the body boot on the wiring harness? It is a completely different design than the older trucks where you has plenty of room to run wires. Was wondering what the outcome was and if it can be done successfully

I'm new to the forum. Found it the other day while trying to find these mirrors. I just bought my 2015 GMC 2500 HD Denali duramax last month and was bummed my dealer didn't know what I was talking about reference these new mirrors. I've got the black camper mirrors heated and power adjust.

Placed my order yesterday with Supercharged. I'm #4 on the next ship. Can't wait. Thanks again Supercharged

I did..It was tricky, I used a coat hanger that I bent in half so the end was smotth and wouldn't snag. Once through I just pinched the wires in the fold and pulled through.
