Its plugged into the brown/white stripe wire along with the diode in the pink harness.

Where are you guys exactly making this connection? Running a wire in from the door, then into cab, or is all this done at the BCM?

From doors through accordian boot into cab. I wired the LED's into spot in photo from my previous post. Ambers can be wired into yellow wire on supply harness for clearance lamps, before I knew that I wired mine into driver side roof marker lamp which worked fine, just more work.

Great picture under dash. exactly what I would like to see on the wire connections on the drivers door.

I installed resistor as shown today. Wire goes to yellow on mirror in left door.

Only left mirror white led works. No white led on right mirror. Any ideas what I missed?

Has anyone out there with a 2014 1500 found a convenient place to hook up the power for the amber run lights? I want them to work as running lights and not blinkers. I have the led’s working as they should. I pulled an extra wire when I pulled the led power wire but I can not find a place to hook it up. All the power sources on the door itself that I checked (including the yellow wire on my harness) go through the dimmer switch, so if you dim your lights inside the truck the amber lights would also dim. I don't think clearance lights are a option on the 1500 so I don't think the wire would exist. I would rather not have to run a wire into the engine compartment if I don't have to.
Thanks to all the guys that have paved the way for the rest of us to make these mirrors work! Much appreciated!

I had to run a wire into the right door...An earlier post said he was able to get both to work by just hooking up the right mirror so I was hopeful that would be the case with the left while using a resistor but no go..I think you're going to be stuck fishing another wire.

My truck goes to the dealer tomorrow to see if we can get it programmed for "DQS". I will keep you all posted

I will hold off running wire to right mirror until I hear from Shamokin. He has a 2015 and we will see what the dealer programming does.

There saying that there is a couple different BCMs. They are still looking into it. This is driving me nuts lol. They are saying that at this moment they can only turn on the power option or turn off, if this makes any sense. I have to call my dealer back today see if he found anything else out. They put a call into gm yesterday.

Looks like Monday they are going to take door panel apart and see if they can figure it out. Why they didnt do this yesterday, your guess is as good as mine.

It appears programming is not an option. Not saying it can't be done but I'm not going to dig much deeper at this point. I will hardwire them in. Supposedly there is a J302 Splicepack and these mirrors are hardwired in
