Question Is there anyway for new mirrors open from the folded position without the new door switch?

I plugged my new mirror in and tryed unfolding with fob

Waiting on door switch anyone have a clue?

Shamokin did your remote work folding and unfolding?

Could you test the harness one wire at a time until the motor activates?

No my remote didnt work. I know its a pain, I manually folded mine out till my switch arrived. Once it comes plug and play and hit the button! Hopefully monday when I go in to the dealership they can program that also. I will update later monday evening and let you guys know how I made out at the dealership reprograming everything.

Do I need to run a wire from each mirror to the fuse to get the white led lights to work? I thought one guy side you just need to run a wire to the passenger mirror and they would both work or might have missed read that posting. I wish it was easy as the marker lights were just connecting the Orange wire to the yellow door harness wire on the driver door and you were done you have marker lights to both mirror. All it was a 6" wire and to wire taps didn't have pull no wires.

Yeah, Not realizing they would be stuck in that position lol. I all ready had everything put back together, so I didnt feel like ripping everything apart again. So I just pulled them to where I could see. As long as you dont nail the throttle you should be good. But when you get your panel and switch, make sure you put them back to the folded in position.

Let me know what the programming changed at the dealer and price?

I would them new new program would show in the setting, vehicle, comfort and convenence and auto mirror powerfolding option which we don't have now.

I think the orange to yellow was to have the marker lamps work as signals. To have them work as marker lamps I believe you'll need to pull new wires into the door.

So fill me on on the "don't nail it" comment. I'm still waiting for my switch to install the mirrors but if there is a way to install without having the switch i will.

Just dont hit the gas to hard lol. The mirrors arnt locked in place until switch operates them.

My mirrors autotilt or adjust when I use remote to uplock truck. I have to readjust each time I get in.

I installed my mirrors today, with the power switch. "No harness" That is on back order. Not quite sure how that would come into play? Everything was plug and play from which I received. The mirrors came folded in, So I was a little scared to see if they would work after everything was plugged in. Phewwww, Yes the power fold worked as soon as I pressed the button! Turn signals also worked! So at best at least I have power fold, and new looking Mirrors! I went to my Local dealer today also and asked if they could program my truck so my mirrors would work like on the Newer 15 trucks with them, they said come in Monday at 2:00 and they would reflash the truck. So hopefully Monday everything will work as it should! I have the 2015 Denali 2500, witch came with the camper style led turn signal mirrors. So any one who is on the fence about getting these they Work! I know its a lot of money for mirrors but at least I dont feel robbed of my 2015! lol Here is a couple picks of the new switch.
