On the cummins forum the guys are wiring up there tow mirrors and making there blinkers into be both markers and blinkers. I think if take there idea it would work. It should slow the blinker back down to normal speeds and not have the lamp out issue. It going to need resistor on the wire that going to be used marker and blinkers. When I had my 2013 ram I did it too it.

I'm also interested in hearing from someone who has a 15' with manual non folding tow mirrors to see how this works with adding the panel/switch.

The same goes for me as well. I wanted power folding mirrors but I also wanted the towing mirrors so I went with towing mirrors. I look forward to hearing from someone that did the mirror and switch panel conversion.

I'll buy your manual folding tow mirrors off you! If you get around to installing the power fold.

I got my mirrors, thanks SuperchargedSS. Waiting now on the harness, switch, and plate. I have the ugly tow mirrors now and hope I can get a local dealer to program them to work once everything arrives.

Make sure you take some pics of everything!! Im waiting for mine also.

Just an update... Wiring harnesses, switches, and panels have arrived. Those of you who ordered those, they will start shipping tomorrow.

We ran completely out of passenger side mirrors. I'm waiting on more to arrive. Trying my hardest to keep up with the demand. We've sold over 30 sets in less than two weeks. It's been insane. But I sincerely appreciate each and every one of your business and patience while we roll these out.

On another note, I'm leaving tomorrow out of town to take my son to legoland. (Yay!). I'll have access to email, but not my desktop. I'll be back Sunday. If you don't get a quick reply, that is why.

I'm always good for texting if you need to get at me. 954-418-2636

I'm planning to do it with the parking lights, I like that look though

I like the parking light look as well. Wish there were schematics available, seems to me that we should be able to connect reverse and park light connections under the door sill plate which may be easier than going to the fuse box.

These mirrors are nice! A couple things to those on the fence:

Compared with the old style towing mirrors, the flat glass portion is slightly shorter but about an inch wider. This gives a more useful view as seeing more sky and more ground is less useful than more horizon.

The spotter mirrors at the bottom are both wider and taller with more total convex to the shape. They cover a lot more area than the spotters on the old mirrors. They can cover from your back tire, through your blind spot and into the other lane. Height-wise they can give you a good view of the ground and still be high enough they don’t cut off the headlights of tall trucks. Much more useful than the old style in my opinion.

The only possible downside I’ve found so far is that they don’t extend outward quite as far as the old ones. If you have a really wide trailer, that may be something you’ll want to consider.

Overall, I like them a lot (and I haven’t even hooked up the reverse and amber LEDs yet). They give a lot better view, the memory and power folding features alone are worth the extra money to me. While I’m not big on chrome, they look really nice. They have a look of quality you just don’t get from the black ones.

I haven’t wired any of the other stuff yet as I’m curious how much of it will work after BCM programming. My drivers side DL3 mirror had the same number of wires in the same locations as the new one, so everything is “hooked up” it should just be a matter of programming. My passenger side DL3 mirror and harness are one wire short so I’m guessing I’ll have to run at least one wire or replace the harness on that side for everything to work.
