I too like the Audi (it is correctly pronounced Ah-Die) and BMWs as of late, but living in a middle class and upper middle class area with most men in their 30s and 40s and of course wanting to look hip and cool and "respected" they have them. Even a few folks at my church. Their biggest complaint? maintenance costs and repairs. I guess what they say about european reliability is true. That being said, my brother drives an 03 A4 Wagon 1.6 or 1.8L turbo, can't remember which. it's had issues with alignment and the instrument cluster (half the digital characters no longer work) but for having 130,000+ miles on it, it has gotten them by well for the past.. 7-8 years now? Goes thru tires quickly though.
