I don't know... found it on a Google search for "lowered 2014 Silverado".

Looks like a 5/8 but I'm just guessing.

I'll throw some opinion in...

I hate lifted trucks. I put a 1 inch front spacer in my 2012 and loved it. a 2 inch would be too much to me as I like some rake in the truck. If it were mine, I would have either...kept the rear block and level the front, put a slightly larger tire, or lower it 2-4 inches. Big lifts get $$$ and put more wear and tear on everything. So...IMO...level or lowered.

thanks, im looking at going with a 2" front / 3.25" rear drop so I should get the same ground look with 1" les then the 3" stock rake which im satisfied with.

that will put the rear fender well 1.75" higher then the front one instead of 3" higher with stock

my main goal is to return the truck to the hood and bed rail heights of the 98-99 trucks

I definitely agree with you on those trucks looking great. Especially with the front end of the 14's looking more like the old ones again, I think it might look really good. If you do some side by side shots of the truck heights that would be cool.

But then again, I kind of like the stock ride height when I'm driving around. I think I'm going to drop the back to level and see how I like that on mine.

what gets me is the bed is unaccessible except from the tailgate and for me I need to be able to load and unload from over the bedrail sides as well otherwise I may as well have bought a suburban if the only access is the rear

so im lowering for usability and not looks but looks are a very close second reason to do it

Bed side height has been an increasing annoying problem IMO. All the truck makers think everyone wants really tall bed sides for some reason. I for one do NOT want taller bed sides. Agreed it's an easy way to increase the volume of the bed but give me a LONGER bed, not taller. I'll deal with the extra length. Another reason I stayed with GM when I bought this truck. The F-150 of the same year was just too annoying tall in the bed sides for my liking.

Well I checked, in my carport at work there is a 01 Z71, 10 Ram , 14 GMC and 3/4 01 Ford diesel all about the same, try to take a photo, too dark yet. Then I measured inside the bed of my 92 Chevy and my 14 GMC 11/2 inch differents, so I guess lowering or steps is in your future. Cant make them much longer people cant fit them into some garages now.
