Lights behind grill

Recommended Posts

The light bar is a Auxbeam V series RGB lightbar. I can control the RGB functions with my phone but the red button allows me to change the color without my phone.

Got the 30" single row put behind the AT grille. Really happy with it. Fits perfect in between the slats and looses no light from behind the grille.

Just finished installing my light bar, it turned out really well. I spent a lot of time trying to make the wiring very clean. The only problem I had was that when I removed the trim under the grill I had one locking tab break off on each side, the tab that broke is right next to the fender and the bolts hold it in place. I was curious if anyone else had that happen to them.

Who has mounted a light bar behind a Denali grill? What kind of light did it throw? Is 32" best or 40"? Looking for more light for those long, desolate, West Texas roads.....a89fd780c8caecc6416e958d295c26f5.jpg

Is it worth $1000 or would I see $1000 difference between that one for $285 and this Baja Designs light bar? Wanting to install one behind my Denali grill. 9fe3895586afe9584a2ac29044172e03.jpg2e2bcda4f39e605334b026bc3ccee29c.jpg

Yes there is a difference in quality. Is it something your going to notice? Most likely not. eBay/Amazon cheapies will tend to have quality control issues leading to poor performance and short lifespans. Companies such as rigid and black oak will outlast your truck.

I have a 30" rough country bar that I received as a gift with the grille mounting brackets. I believe it was ~$300. It's performed flawlessly so far.

Would this Rough Country kit fit on my 2015 Yukon? d833b3ec1e8d6e6101de02ccef3e2258.jpg

your best bet is to probably just contact rough country customer support. Pretty sure you can instant message/live chat with someone on their website! Good luck [emoji4]
