Did anyone add silicone to theirs as a precaution. Im thinking i might just in case, last thing i want to do is have to pull the grille off again.

Although this has a breather on it thats supposed to keep condensation from building inside.

I wouldn't silicone anything on it and definitely don't close up that breather. Don't forget - they are designed for taking an outdoor beating. Last thing to worry about is a leak problem.

I received a 32" ECCPP curved for Christmas. I began to take it apart to apply silicone to prevent moisture as that's one of the most common complaints on the Amazon/eBay lights. However, after I got the end caps off I saw that it had silicone already applied. I guess they've started doing that at the factory now. We'll see how long it lasts.

you'll get a CEL and who knows what else I'm sure if you try to remove the shudders

So I'm basically SOL if I try and put a lightbar in?

For some reason I was obsessed with having my light bar as high as possible to line up with the headlights. I simply bent some flat metal which then gives you the option to mount it at any height you want. With the custom grille, and removal of alot of the old grill mounting hardware, I was pretty pleased with the result.

Where did you get the mount brackets?

How did that work out for you?

I purchased the RC mounting kit they have for GMC/Chevy hidden light bar.

They dont sell it alone on the site youll have to call them but it works perfect whether you use a single or double row.

I just installed the Rough Country 30" single row behind the grill kit... Easy installation, Looks good and puts out awesome light.

Looks very good. Curious though. If you went with a double row do you think the second row of lights would have been blocked by the grill? Just wondering if a double row can be fit or there is enough gap really for a single.

The bracket is adjustable and I think a dual row bar would work well with this grill. That being said, the amount of light the single bar puts out is astonishing and I guess you can never have too much light, but I don't think i need more..
