RacerSilvy
Decided it was time for me to chime in with my lights. Definitely have way more in front of the grille than behind but here is my setup. The misses has convinced me I have a problem and has now put a stop to all lighting on the truck. Thousands of dollars later here she is! Behind the Grille: Baja Designs OnX6 30" Hi-Power - Mounted using their 30" Mount Kit On the Bumper: QTY: 5 - Baja Designs Squadron Sports in Amber (Combo / Spot) In the Bumper (Fogs): QTY: 2 Squadron Sports and QTY: 2 Squadron Pros. On the Hood: QTY: 2 XL Racer Edition Spot... With a total of ~40Amps I definitely don't run all of these at once. There is some reasoning behind the madness. Bumper (Amber) was for fog/snow/rain, and the others for complete coverage.. Hope you like the truck. reconshaun
I like it How did you run this and install the switch in this spot? This is exactly what I'm looking for?
reconshaun
Any chance the RC behind the grill kit would work on a 2500? I know it doesn't say it will, but I know some parts are shared between the 1500 and 2500. Any chance the RC behind the grill kit would work on a 2500? I looked at a friends 2500 and his appears to have the same 3 holes on each side of the radiator shroud that my 1500 has and if it does, it should work. I did not pull off his grille and measure though. Good luck
Txjose
Nice! My high country is a 2014 but I had to use the 2016 GMC "setting" due to the different grill. I think their spacings are meant for the traditional grills in the trucks. But that's why I love this kit. Could put it on the height that worked for me. Highly recommend. And the CRE bar is bright as S***. [emoji106]How gopd is it really?? I was thinking about getting the brackets from RC and getting my own Rigid light. I can take measurements on my 2500 to see if that kit would work. PJF7395
**EDIT** It was pointed out to me that this is a 32" bar not a 30" My mistake! I recently installed this 30" Rigidhorse LED light bar and I am in LOVE with it. The amount of light this thing packs is truly astonishing. I picked it up on Amazon and when it arrived it seemed like a pretty high quality piece of equipment. The mounts that came with it worked perfectly. I did grab some longer stainless bolts from Lowe's to mount it but that is all. It fits perfectly behind the grill of my 2016 All Terrain. I also bought one of the wireless light controllers from Amazon for $20 so I wouldn't have to drill any holes in the firewall to bring a switch through into the cab. In all honesty the hardest part of this project was getting the front end apart without breaking anything, and really after figuring it out, even that isn't too difficult. This is by FAR the best $140 (TOTAL COST!) mod I have ever done. Everything back in place, if you know what you are looking for I think this looks great. I haven't seen any signs of the truck running hotter. I drive both interstate and surface streets every day and it has been perfect for 3 weeks now. One of my favorite shots of my truck. This thing just looks darn sexy. Factory headlights and fog lights only in this pic. This is my driveway looking towards the street. The factory lights are really pretty good to be honest. Exact same shot but with the added power of the Rigidhorse lightbar, there is no comparison! To be honest this picture doesn't even do the bar justice. It is just mind boggling how much light this thing throws. It is awesome.

Back in a Bowtie
has anyone tried to stuff a light bar behind the bumper on a silverado? I know some have done it on the Sierra but it looks like it's a thinner area on the chevy.
