I second this

pm colton_m for the brackets - he made me a pair, they are absolutely beautifully made and fit like a dream and really hold the light bar solidly - worth every penny and more

You only need one wire. The ground can be made to the chassis. I'd recommend running a relay, rather than a directly powered circuit. That way you can run a small wire gauge and switch to control the relay and the larger power wire would be from the battery to relay, and relay to light. Fuse the power wire as near as practical to the battery. A relay circuit will have less probability of wire overheat damage to your truck.

How can you only run 1 wire through the firewall? You need more than one wire. If you run the hot from the battery to the relay and you would need to have a wire back out to the light bar. Unless you're keeping all the wiring under the hood. I prefer to keep as much as I can inside the cab. Thats why I was looking to find a constant hot in the fuse box and only need to run the one wire to the light bar. If you could explain more I would appreciate it.

Has anyone actually cut out the honeycomb chrome grill to have the lightbar not be recessed behind it where you lose a lot of the light? I'm toying with this idea.

A dremel was my best friend for this project, i had to remove the air dam that bolts to the rear of the grill, i had to the honeycomb from the inside to clearance for the lightbar, also had to cut the plastic shroud that bolts to the front of the radiator so the lightbar can sit flush with the grill

It sounds confusing but will post pictures once i get them, i used another cellphone when i was doing the install

I wired my light bar to my fog light switch and wired my fog lights to to my low beans. Didnt have to go through The firewall. This week I'll do that mod that let's You put your high Beam and fogs on At The same time. My bar is recessed behind The grill. Probably 95% of The light passes though..

Mother nature won today so no progress. Considering a change in the grill to a white one now with black mesh and white headlight surrounds. Or possibly the chrome grill with black honeycomb to break up all the chrome.
