Tcanns70
Better late than never, I had the grill off again, here's some pics: I made some aluminum brackets to attach to the angled supports behind the grill. Clearly I need to get some stainless screws haha. How can I get some of these brackets?

Sidewayz
Has anyone actually cut out the honeycomb chrome grill to have the lightbar not be recessed behind it where you lose a lot of the light? I'm toying with this idea.

Sidewayz
Where did you all get the wires through the firewall? I was hoping to only run the two wires to the bar and wire the power and ground in the cab. There has to be a constant power in one of the fuse boxes that is not being used at the moment. Anyone have any ideas??

Anyone have any ideas?? On the diver side engine bay buy the firewall, there is a rubber cover. I ran then through there and then after that you will hit another rubber gasket u have to go threw. It was a pain in my ass.

I was hoping to only run the two wires to the bar and wire the power and ground in the cab. There has to be a constant power in one of the fuse boxes that is not being used at the moment. Anyone have any ideas?? You only need one wire. The ground can be made to the chassis. I'd recommend running a relay, rather than a directly powered circuit. That way you can run a small wire gauge and switch to control the relay and the larger power wire would be from the battery to relay, and relay to light. Fuse the power wire as near as practical to the battery. A relay circuit will have less probability of wire overheat damage to your truck.

Sidewayz
I'm dreading having to remove the grill. Not having a garage to work in blows. Trucks to big for the door height and I have other toys stored so no room. Driveway mod...lol
