Can we get a regular cab thread going? Stock, lifted, lowered?

Recommended Posts

I went up, not down. Also put the Dynapro's back on. The 420's just wouldn't balance worth a shit, so I flipped them for more then I paid for them.

Went from a 3" shackle drop, to a 1.5" front spacer. I have 5100's waiting to go on, but not till I decide what tire size I want.

I still have the 2/5 drop kit, in case i ever decide to go down again. Options are nice lol.

Where did all these RCSBs come from?

Never saw one on the lot.

All depends on where you are in the United States.

There are quite a few dealers I have seen that stock them in Texas,  Alabama and Georgia too.

I did special order mine because I wanted the blue with brown/tan inside.

I see a lot more in town since I bought mine, which is often the case. Likely not a resurgence, but more you just notice them more when you own one.

I think I have seen maybe 5 or 6 since the K2 trucks first appeared, not counting the white WTs.

When I bought my 2014, I would have loved to get a RCSB. I went with a double cab instead, and a few years later to the crew cab.

The majority I see here in Central Florida are crew cabs of various trim levels.

Found a set of barely used Nitto 420s online, so I picked them up. I have 2" drop spindles and a 5-6 rear flip kit, but I've been toying with the idea of going the other way lately. So I've been dragging my feet on putting them on.

Go low!

Edit: see you went with a level! Looks good.

I kind of want to lift mine to a 4/6 but I'm afraid I wont like it. Yours looks good.

Don't really show in that pic very well but I like the stance on my brother's better. It's lower all around and we used the same parts. I'm about 90% happy with mine

The GMC trucks appear to sit lower because of the fender flares. You look like a 4/7 to me but I dont know your suspension setup

Makes sense. It's a Belltech 4/7 with the 1" lift shackle installed - Measures out to a 4/6.5ish but definitely has rake - I'd call it a 4/6 based on some of the other trucks I've seen

@Dinner your Chevrolet looks great!:thumbs:

The blacked out theme really sets it off compared to the chrome on the GMC.  Your brother needs to paint/wrap his bumpers and grille IMO.

Thank you! Yeah... he's talked about doing the SLT head light swap and maybe a Denali grille with some black bumpers - you never know.

I had both djm  and bell tech lift shackle and they both made contact on the shackle mount making a squeaking sound. Do yours squeak? And can you get me a picture of them on the truck?

Very nice trucks for sure and of course I'm a little biased towards the Chevy ?. I think your wheels add the perfect amount of "pop" to the black (I'm not a fan of this all black including the wheels trend) and the stance looks perfect to me although @Nasty will tell you mine looks like a 4wd since I haven't got around to lowering it yet!
