Can we get a regular cab thread going? Stock, lifted, lowered?

Recommended Posts

Look like fun. What size are those tires? Personally I think they look good on your truck.

They're LT265/70R17, the stock on LS trim, thinking of just going 285/70R17 with a more aggresive off-road tire, even with the fox shocks i don't really want to risk it on rubbing.

I like it.....gives it a nice rumble, but nothing that would give you a headache out on the interstate.

You can honestly have a normal conversation without raising your voice at all at 75. You really only hear the exhaust while under acceleration

this is kind of a mid-installation pic. The bar now sits about 2" behind the cab and is wired properly

That is sharp, you know I had thought that new bar would look good on a regular cab !

Can't wait to see the finished pictures......Are you putting the LED's up top ?

I'm at a bit of a stand still actually. The GM "Off Road Fog Lamps" mount one LED lamp on each side of the bar, which I'm really not a fan of, BUT they come with a GM wire harness that connects to an included factory light button replacement that has makes really nice factory look and function without some toggle switch by my foot or whathaveyou. For the money, I can just have a full length third party LED that would be way better. For the time being I think I'm going to stick with it as-is, it looks nice and slick without one, but I will cave soon enough I'm sure, there is also an LED behind the grill. It has a level in the front, 275/55/20 BFG all terrains, removed the air dam, added the sport bar, not much to it really.

also, really debating on replacing the chrome sierra badges on the side with all terrain badges. Dont want to be too big of a flame about the truck, but it says Sierra twice on the side, and the red sierra on the bar isn't something I feel can be really improved on, and the red and chrome on the AT badges would kind of work with the the colors and idea of the truck.

I can't say that I blame you, I know those factory LED's are high priced....and it does look good just like it is too.

It's a shame they don't have a option to get different words wrote on the roll bar.....or no words at all.

The AT badges are good looking, you're right !
