Foglights On With High Beams

Not trying to thread hike, but curious if those leds keep a good beam pattern. On my gmc they look like they won't clear on the back side. I've been dying to see if someone has good results with them....

Just wanted to chime in - new Silverado owner and happy that this was my first (and probably easiest) mod that I've done. I enabled the fogs to come on with the parking lights. Simple, easy, reliable. Thanks guys!

Just got this done! Took about 10 minutes bc I wasn't sure if I was pushing in the diode enough. But when I tested it, it worked! Appreciate it guys!

Can anybody confirm if the GM bracket will work on a Silverado? I called Rigid and they didn't have an answer.

I was also wondering if anybody has installed the 6" bars in the plastic filler piece in the center of the bumper.

My thought is to do the pods in the fog locations and 6" in the filler piece.

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like the fog mount locations on your 2500 may be smaller than the mounting location on the Sierras, so my guess is it wouldn't be a direct fit. However you could always get a pair and cut some off the ends to make them smaller and make them fit.

Would you be able to fit a 6" in the filler? I haven't gotten up close and personal with one so I don't know how large it is but you may run into a problem with the park assist sensor being right there

I gave this a shot months ago but it didn't work. I seem to be the only moron that can't make such a simple thing work & yet I can take apart my front end just fine...lol. I'll try again this friday and post results. Just plug the diode in correct?

EC,

Make sure you have the end with the stripe on it in the correct pin. The diode is like a one way valve. Put it on the wrong way and it won't work properly.
