Foglights On With High Beams

Recommended Posts

Spurshot-

Infinteoffroad.com supplied two Epistar 36 watt units locally installed. Mounted behind grill on each side of GMC. Installation estimated at $150, billed same in spite of 6 hour actual taken.

Units come on w/high beams and do what GM should have done. Great lighting.

Pics?

Im thinking mounting 2 of rigid's new DOT approved Eseries 6" light bars on either side of the the GMC. Would be a great height for the lights and still be legal. I would hook mine to the fog lights though. And that's only if the Dually version I'm getting for the fog lights actually look good and work well enough for me to justify spending the extra coin on their 6" E-series counterparts.

Mike - When you need fog lamps and low beam hdlts you don't want to be blinded by high mounted, high-strength light bouncing back and blinding you. Mine only come on with GM's inadequate high beams. (Mine are projectors.)

Have pics, but don't know how to downsize on android. (Computer died a few days ago.)

You could upload them to photobucket and then post a link here. That's what I've started to do.

And these work as fog lamps as well, that's why I would hook them to the fog lamps. I would angle them down some to keep them from being too high.

Like I said, it's still just an idea to help add extra light legally when If I ever need it. It may not happen in the long run, but still would be a cool thought since these are supposed to have a nice low beam style beam since they are declared as legal fog lights.

Can you be more specific on how to download photos to Tapatalk, plz?
