What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

HA! Well that's good!

I tried lighting off the airbag in the Jimmy when I parted it out. Had a long stretch of wire laid out, touched the leads to my battery, and .... CRICKETS. Even the airbag was defective in that POS, lol.

What a letdown. I was so disappointed ...

When JusTune did my dyno pull a couple weeks ago, I had a bad wire, so I replaced them with Taylor 10.4mm Wires, very low resistance. (Plug wire #1 looks like it's touching the header in the photo, but it's just the camera angle... about 1" clearance.)

Check them in a year or two also. The Taylor 10.4 I pulled off the Firebird had wildly varrying resistances(none were bad, but they ranged from 40-500, and I think they are rated under 50?). Not sure how old they were, just found it odd they aged so differently.

Ordered the new heads, gauges, and some headlights today for the Coronet... Should have all the top end parts here by the end of march and hopefully rebuilt and ready to rock by the end of April...

This past weekend I did rotors and pads (DBA T2 Streets with Hawk HPS5.0 pads) on the Z06 and finally lowered it down on the stock bolts. Also cleaned up the fender wells and suspension. Cleaned and polished up the wheels while they were off.

Put a license plate frame on the new car. Took nearly two weeks to get here(a week to ship), wondering if they made it when I ordered.....

(They sell then in a bunch of colors that are fairly close to the actual colors on the cars they sell them for....mine matches close enough it looks good, but a shade off)
