What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

Texted the builder asking him to aoread the word. He said he ia closing on a house in a few weeks or he'd take it(asking 18k locally). So he is spreading the word to his car guy circle (lots of pontiac fans should find out this way)

Installed a dashcam in my Camaro. I had some clown in a beat out red VW Cabriolet try and cause a crash to become an insurance millionaire. I took lots of pics, and had a nice chat with the State Trooper who stopped.

Fortunately, a cop was on hand, and my ins co told him to go to hell.

If there's a next time, I'll have video.

Did he hit your car?

I bought a second camera, have one in my truck and car. Was a PITA to remember to take it out and put it in the other vehicle.

Well Ryan, I guess I won't make it to the Camaro thing in Bowling Green. I was still planning on it if I had the car then....when it ran.....

If the ebay buyers pull through, they have 3 days after auction end to pick it up(unless they are a GMTC member, I will give them more time). That would make it Monday....

It has almost 40 watchers. Probably just people from the sites I'm on wondering how bad its going to hurt.

Car looks beautiful! Shame it's got a blown motor now. What are you expecting to get out of it, $10-12k?

Building that motor from scratch would cost 15+. I'd think the heads and intake(which are NLA, and sought after by forced induction people.) are fine. That $2-3k carb is fine.....look up the parts if you don't believe me!

Someone on a classic camaro site thinks I could see 15, paraphrase his words "I see it as a car with a lot of known good parts worth that much".

I already mentioned the guy who built it, thinks its worth 18k.

Who knows, its ebay. I've seen stuff go over value from bidding wars. I've seen smoking deals barely get attention.

Well best of luck! I'll be watching it and possibly may have a bid or two from me.

Some of the pics were pre-mods...new pics and reformatted list are in description at the bottom.(the engine bay and interior pics in ebay gallery were before I did some stuff, like the AC, powerbraid, and upper ras hose, I put in all new Aeroquip Socketless fuel hose front and back a few months ago) Along with PHS docs for the car.

Probably screwed myself out of some money buy rushing the ad to begin with.

Went to start the Trans Am up today since I haven't driven it much since buying the truck, and it didn't want to start. I only took the battery tender off a week ago, but put it back on after it wouldn't start so I can try again tomorrow.

The thing is the key fob opened it just fine and the headlights came on so there's some battery power at least. It made a REALLY loud noise when I tried starting it. Almost like if you've ever heard someone trying to start a car that's already running except louder. May be a bad starter. At least that's my guess.

Two people lookig at it now. I'm at work but its in m y driveway and my wife said they looked impressed when the hood was opened.

That just what I need, people to SEE it in person. A barely functioning engine that still looks sweet.... Mustang guys especially love it under the hood. (Most the local Camaro guys, as in new camaros don't know whats going on, big generation gap with F-bodys).
