What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

Some nicely kept E39 M5s around. Says something about a car when Journalists STILL conpare cars to it as the benchmark. (Many of the reviews of the Chevy SS make comparisons). I think that they will be a serious collector's item in the future. E30 M3's are going well over 30K now. Found one I wouldn't mind owning. Low miles, some light, name brand performance goodies on it.

Driving a V6 Camaro as my rental the past couple days. Other than backing out of spots, I don't get what the fuss is about visibility and for that you can get a rear camera. Only a few negatives-

Seatbelts aren't height-adjustable so without using the keeper strap on the seatback they're too high and with the strap they're too low.

This may just be a setting I'm missing but the steering wheel controls don't seek radio stations, only presets. Useless on a 300+ mile drive. It's also laggy in XM and has issues playing podcasts via USB but this seems to be common across many infotainment systems for some reason.

Biggest thing is the ignition switch recall. I'd be furious at the shit quality if this were my car. The insert in the new traditional key fits extremely badly and they don't give you a new remote, just the now key-less fob with the switchblade button disabled. Looks so crappy for a car that Chevy should be proud of.

Rain never let up, so we will try monday, but the guy asked if I would be interested in getting a trade plus cash for one of these.(i think this is it, he said it was the anniverary edition). Told him I'm not a bike guy and have never even ridden on One But that thing looks nice!

My problem will be some people might overreact to the paint cracks on the quarter. Had two different reputable body guys tell me it looks like a fairly simple fix, but a quarter in the absolute worst case.(but no reason to rush to fix it, not like its rust or anything)

Didn't do much to it today. Just changed the oil, filter, and cabin air filter. Damn, that cabin filter gets black fast!

My rockers are all tarred up from the road construction in the area. That'll be fun to remove!

I want to put a CurbAlert and OEM backup cam on it next.

(I built the garage big so I'd have room when I bought a C7 Corvette.)

I had the guy @ the tire place ask why I wanted new tires on a new car. It's 6 years old!

Here's a picture of my 2012 GT500 before I sold her. It had the factory SVT Performance Package, Recaro seats, smaller pulley, JLT 127mm carbon fiber intake, axel backs and tune. Dyno'd at 526rwhp and 518rwtq.
