What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

Ryan,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I have no plans as yet to attend. As a self-employed individual, I have to budget my off time very carefully, my staff all expect to be paid every week! It seems that free time is getting harder and harder to come by with all my obligations.

Understandable. Luckily fest 3&4 were here in indy. Didn't make texas last yr but I am booked for Ky.

No the fest I am speaking of is camaro5.com fest. This year is the 6th year and being held at beechbend raceway in KY.

Local 5th gen guys loved my car, caused a more of a stir on their FB group than I expected (just got added today to it and people are asking about it when they saw it there) who knows maybe I'll tag along this year(wife could care less about cars). Just a days' tow.

The stupid loud got attention again. Everyone commented on the sound, everything stopped when it started and was driving it. I was behind one guy in a 14 SS and he said it scared him at first because it was so aggressive, and how hard the "cam hits". He was acting like he was wanting to trade if his wife would let him.

One of my sons, the one that "flirts with all the pretty girls"(its hilarious, always gets strangers laughing when a young blonde is near him and he turns all his attention to her, smiles, and starts chatting) told my wife he liked all the cars the women were driving. gonna have to watch that one.

Funny about your son. Last year at the autoshow they had the C7 Vette. My son absolutely loves them well they had a cutaway of the car with the engine visible. He ran up by the stage right by the model turns to me and says daddy check out that motor. The model busted out laughing. She got totally ignored and overshadowed by the engine

I have 4 boys. Obviously all grown. :) None of them ever had even a slight interest in muscle cars, Vettes, sports cars, etc. But they are all Truck Guys now. 3 Fords and a Ram! (Didn't want to be too much like the old man!)

Ryan, you see that 6th gen Camaro light on eBay? I think the link I saw was to Camaro5 talking about it. Pretty funny....

I'm wondering if they will jack the price up like they have done with so many other recent models.

regarding the lights from a friend who has a gm engineer friend

Probably validation units that someone took home. The should be well past PV (Process Validation) at this point in the game. The steps are EV (Engineering Validation), to test the engineering principles, DV (Design Validation) to test the "final" design and the PV to test the build process at the plant. More than likely these got in the wrong hands and ended up on eBay. Whoever did this will get fired over it (as they should) if traced back... Actually looking at the bottom left pic, that's exactly what this is. It says Pre-DV right on the sticker. That means it's a very early sample not even at the DV testing phase yet.

World of wheels today

WoW is also in KC this weekend. A couple of my buddies went last night. I have a pretty busy weekend... don't know if I'll make it. But I've been every year for 10 years, so I've probably seen most!
